UK FUNFAIRS Vol.15: SUMMER OF 1989
Over twenty years have passed since this footage was originated and how times have changed. Rides such as Billy Wawick's Skid, Roger Hall's Divebomber, Arthur Holland's Matterhorn, Albert Holland's Cyclone and Paratrooper, William Wood's Skyliners, James Mellors' Sizzler and Orbiter are just memories. The market area at BAKEWELL has been redeveloped meaning James Whiting's fair has been relocated across the river, but the fair at BUXTON continues as before with only Bert Holland's Waltzer regularly attending amongst the more modern rides of today.
UK FUNFAIRS Vol.14: GLOUCESTER
The Midlands based firm of Bob Wilson have long been associated with the Gloucester Park Carnival fair, and it probably reached it's peak for the fairground enthusiast during the 1990s. This volume records the rides in 1992 and 1994, but who recalls Abie Danter's Easyrider and the late Ronnie Taylor's boxing saloon being there?
Content above previously used on Roundabouts Volumes
The Churchdown Fairground Extravaganza ia always eagerly looked forward to during the winter months, and some of the many superb fairground models attending in 2010 are
seen in the concluding part of this programme.
UK FUNFAIRS Vol.13: STAFFORDSHIRE
The 90s fairs held on the former Minton Factory site by Stanworth's at STOKE very often saw some interesting rides attend, not least the former D Taylor Speedway presented by Jennings'. John Collins' LEEK Fair is visited next before calling at the little reported fair held at NEWCASTLE where there are build up and pull on views. It just wouldn't be a Bank Holiday in TAMWORTH without the Barker family's funfair on the castle grounds. The programme concludes with a visit to Warwick's funfair held in support of CHEADLE Wakes.

NOTTINGHAM GOOSE and BURTON FAIRS 2010
NOTTINGHAM GOOSE FAIR 2010 - Over fifteen major rides made first time
visits to Nottingham's premier public event, and there were several rides returning after several years absence. Some of the regular attendees were relocated giving this time honoured fair a different look. BURTON STATUTES FAIR 2010 - Not the biggest fair in the land, but this true street fair brims over with high quality attractions. This important and busy fair is captured by our camera for the first time as the crowds turn out in their thousands.
TRANSPORT of DELIGHT Volume 35
Once again, the transport for the largest of the Peak District Well Dressing fairs is captured on arrival at BAKEWELL and BUXTON in 2010. NOTTINGHAM'S Goose fair pull on gets more and more protracted and this volume covers the Saturday and Sunday arrivals of the loads, in contrasting weather conditions.
BUILDING UP THE STARGATE
Generically known as the "Twinspin", this ride was built by ARM in 1995 for William Wilson. The compact design is accommodated as a single trailer load, and is featured on this volume building up at Nottingham Riverside August 2010. Also included is footage from 1996, when almost new, and of Stevens' similar Megaspin ride.

BUILDING UP THE UFO VERTICAL LIMIT
There are very few Huss built fairground rides travelling in the UK, and John Wesseldine's UFO example is one of 27 such rides built by this well known German manufacturer. Here it is seen being built up, and open in the tiny Derbyshire village of Parwich in support of the Wakes festivities of 2010
UK FUNFAIRS Vol.11 - NORTH WALES
TIR PRINCE Raceway at TOWYN was visited by our camera in 2001, and throughout the season is a huge draw for the huge caravan population nearby who have the choice of park and travelling amusement rides. LLANDUDNO'S Victorian Weekend never fails to attract huge numbers of visitors. It's main streets are closed to all traffic and taken over by fairground rides for three days. Sadly, there is a higher proportion of modern rides these days, but there still remains a sizeable attendance of traditional amusements, all contributing to this resort's popular and unique May Bank Holiday event in 2010.

BUILDING UP THE 20th CENTURY THRILLER
The full build up of Richard Millband's 20th Century Thriller on it's debut in his ownership at Lincoln in 2009. This machine (originally built by Orton & Spooner) has been rebuilt over a three year period by Richard and his family, along with a dedicated band of helpers. The resulting efforts are no less than a joy to behold, and when open the ride has a faithfully recreated 1960s atmosphere

NOTTINGHAM GOOSE FAIR 2009
Nottingham's 2009 Goose Fair was inundated with aerial rides, whereby there were just as many people in the air as walking on the ground! Of these, P.Sedgewick's "Rock Rage" and D.Taylor's "Star Flyer" were welcome newcomers, alongside some regular favourites, both white knuckle and more traditional. Changes to the layout also added to the appeal of this year's event

TRANSPORT of DELIGHT Volume 33
1: Some of the vintage attractions arriving at Lincoln Showground for the August 2008 Rally, including the Moonrocket, Rotor & Paul Hyman's smart Foden and ERF Dodgem transport.
2: Michael Evans' coverage of the pull off at Telford in Spring 1991 featured a nice Scammell Pioneer winching the loads off a very muddy tober. Featured are: G.Stoke's Dodgem, T.Cogger's Superbob, W.Roberts'
Meteorite and other rides.
3: A visit to Burton On Trent in 2008 for the lunchtime pull on, which sees some intricate positioning of the showmen's rides. Henry Stanworth's Maxwell Waltzer was probably making it's final appearance here, with a
replacement machine due in 2009

BUILDING UP THE MOONROCKET
The complete build up of Howard Maden's Maxwell-Lakin built Moonrocket ride in it's 70th Anniversary year which coincided with it's 10th appearance at the Lincoln Steam Rally in 2008. Originally travelled by the Shaw family from Lancashire, it attended such major fairs as Newcastle Town Moor, Nottingham Goose Fair and Hull until 1982. Howard Maden acquired the ride in 1992, and along with family & friends restored the ride to it's current condition and it is the only complete surviving example of it's type. This DVD also sees the ride open for the first time in their ownership at Rawcliffe in 1993, at Harewood House Steam Rally and at Hull Fair in 1994. Hold tight for a fast ride!

WHITBY REGATTA FAIR
The people of Whitby always turn out to see the night arrival of the Regatta Fair at dusk as the lorries descend the notorious Khyber Pass, and even breaking into spontaneous applause! The one day fair is very unusual in that it is built on a stone jetty, and is therefore surrounded by the sea. This limits the style of amusements which can be operated here due to the narrow width, but, nevertheless, the local fairgoers are out in force as early as 10am.
BONUS CHAPTER: Footage from Luna Park at Scarborough.

F.H.T. SCAMMELL WEEKEND 2007
With Franks Edwards's enthusiasm, the first FHT Scammell weekend was a huge success. A road run through the rolling Devonshire countryside took place on both days, and no less than seven Showtracs were gathered together to add momentum the launch of Barry Brown's new book featuring this model which was purpose built for use by the British showmen. The official launch was performed by George Devey from Anderton & Rowland, who in his speech gave a brief history of Showtrac vehicles that have seen use by showmen in the West Country.

BUILDING UP THE MOVE IT 32
Built by KMG in 1996, this unique ride was acquired by James Cox & Sons in 2002, and travels all over the UK. The machine was redecorated for the start of the 2006 season, and extra lighting added. It's dimensions are 52 x 59 feet, and the machine builds up from three articulated trailers which remain in situ when assembly is completed. This DVD sees how these are skilfully aligned whilst building up at Buxton, right through to extensive coverage of this colourful ride in action both by day and at night. The volume concludes with footage of the overnight pull down after close of business at Buxton in 2006.
